This video is about spoonbills at the Starrevaart nature reserve in the Netherlands.
Dutch conservation organization Natuurmonumenten reports that in their Nieuwkoop lakes reserve the number of nesting spoonbill couples went from 3 in 2010 to 49 this summer.
One factor in this rise is the new nature reserve the Groene Jonker not far away, where the spoonbills can find food.
