This video from the USA is called Tom Cruise Scientology Video – (Original UNCUT).
Scientology is often considered to be a for profit business, claiming to be a religion because religions are tax exempt.
Scientology was already the cause of the breakup of film actor Tom Cruise’s second marriage, with Nicole Kidman.
Recently, Scientology ruined Cruise‘s third marriage, with Katie Holmes.

Katie Holmes Returns To Catholic Church
Posted: 07/09/2012 1:09 pm Updated: 07/09/2012 1:17 pm
Five years after revealing that she had started to study Scientology, Katie Holmes has officially returned to the Catholic faith, registering as a parishioner at the Church of St. Francis Xavier in New York City.
“Everyone is thrilled to have Katie join us,” a member of the church’s choir told me. “She has not yet attended a service, but when she does she will be welcomed with open arms.”
The church, located on 16th Street between Fifth and Sixth Avenues, is known for inclusive thinking and its welcoming of many gay and lesbian Catholics.
In this, that New York parish differs from elsewhere in the United States Roman Catholic Church. But also certainly from Tom Cruise, from other Scientologist movie stars, and from Scientology.
Its mission statement indicates that the Roman Catholic Church parish “strives to be a prophetic, welcoming community, inclusive witness to the presence of Christ Jesus in our midst.” Its website proclaims that it is a respectful community, “where seekers and their questions are welcomed, where injustice is challenged, where the poor, the alienated and marginalized find a home,
That is certainly different from Scientology; where, if you are poor, then you get even poorer as you have to give your money to the Scientology bigwigs.
and where people are refreshed, reconciled and renewed.”

Which may be true about the Roman Catholic Church as a whole, led by the Vatican; but, if one bases oneself on the article text, not so much about that local parish.
Not all Roman Catholics are equally reactionary. Eg, there is a tendency among many nuns which is considered to be too feminist by the Vatican:

If I have to choose between Roman Catholics like Dorothy Day and her Catholic Worker organization, and the Berrigan brothers who opposed the Vietnam war, on the one hand; and on the other hand, a self-proclaimed atheist like Ayn Rand, for whom the most ruthleess capitalism was not ruthless enough yet, a supporter not only of the Vietnam war but also of nuclear war and of mass extermination of poor people; then I will NOT choose the second option.

Cool choice – I’ve been following the radical sisters who’ve been told off by the Vatican.
Whether I would set up two such options and then have to choose one or the other is another matter 🙂

The Master
From the writer of Magnolia and There Will Be Blood, Paul Thomas Anderson’s The Master looks at the roots of the contoversial “religion” of Scientology.
Huge fees are charged by the Church of Scientology for a ritual supposed to free followers of their limits and help them reach their “true immortal nature”.
Anderson’s portrayal of L Ron Hubbard—who set up Scientology in 1952—has been compared to Frank Mackey, the disturbed seduction coach who was memorably played by Tom Cruise in Magnolia. Cruise himself became a Scientologist in the 1990s, shortly before Magnolia was produced.
Described as a psychological drama, The Master explores themes of loneliness and the madness that stems from anxiety and alienation. It goes on general release from 14 September.
