Thank you, and all the best for your fine blogs!
This post is my reaction to Carina’s nomination. I will post about the other nomination by Spencer Angeltvedt later.
Here are the rules of the Versatile Blogger Award:
1. In a post on your blog, nominate 10 fellow bloggers for The Versatile Blogger Award; and link to them. 2. In the same post, add the Versatile Blogger Award. 3. In the same post, thank the blogger who nominated you in a post with a link back to their blog. 4. In the same post, share 10 completely random pieces of information about yourself. 5. In the same post, include this set of rules. 6. Inform each nominated blogger of their nomination by posting a comment on each of their blogs.
I have nominated the following 10 blogs:
1 WILDEN MARSH: Another Year Living with Nature at Hoo Wood and Wilden Marsh Nature Reserve
2 Talin Orfali
4 Tracie Louise Photography
5 marina kanavaki
7 Sharmishtha Basu’s poetries
8 Anticipation of
9 A Traveller’s Tale
And here are ten random pieces of information about myself:
1 When I was small, I used to go to a zoo, not far away.
2 Unfortunately, that zoo has closed down because of money.
3 Once, I went to another zoo (basically a birds only zoo) during a cold winter. It was so cold that I was the only visitor and they let me in for free.
4 In the houses for tropical birds, it was still reasonably warm then.
5 I started blogging in early 2005, at Modblog.
6 Modblog was bought by a big corporation and went down the drain.
7 I transferred to Blogsome, which went down the drain too in late 2011.
8 Fortunately, the overwhelming majority of my Blogsome blog posts is now here at WordPress. However, most of my internal blog links here still point to disappeared Blogsome pages. It is a gigantic job to change these all to links to my new WordPress blog. I certainly cannot do that in one day, or one month.
9 I used to have another, poetry only, site. That site, and others there, were ruined when they became property of a big corporation.
10 I still remember when a sand lizard, instead of running away from me, crept up my leg.
