Scores of black-tailed godwits. Redshanks.
On this photo, behind the redshank to the right, one of the black-tailed godwits has a ring around its leg.
Teal swimming.
Coming quite close, a group of five dunlins, feeding.
Many curlews.
Finally, three barnacle geese flying.

Yes, the light in the morning was quite good and some birds, especially the dunlins, came quite close.
