To the birds of Gambia

Gambia, hooded vulture

Wednesday 1 February.

Early in the morning, the plane departs to the airport of Banjul, the capital of Gambia.

We fly past Portugal and Morocco.

From the airport, the bus to Kotu on the Atlantic coast.

Which birds and other wildlife will we see?

Above the airport, black kites and hooded vultures circle.

Hooded vultures sit on a palm tree.

Cattle egrets between cattle.

We arrive in Kotu.

And now you may have to wait for the exciting sequels to this post maybe for two weeks; the Internet being extremely SLOW in the Gambia.
