From daily The Morning Star in Britain:
Moroccans demand action on jobs and terror arrests
Monday 23 January 2012
Two thousand people demonstrated against Moroccan king Mohammed VI and his government on Sunday in Casablanca’s working-class neighbourhood of Tacharouk.
They demanded the US-backed government tackle the country’s 31 per cent unemployment rate and release people arrested under anti-terrorism laws.
Five jobless university graduates set themselves on fire in Rabat last Wednesday.
Two protesters were badly burnt and are still in hospital.
