Meadow pipit and sanderlings

4 April 2008, around the Monsterseweg in the Hague: ring-necked parakeets and a blue tit.

Glechoma hederacea flowering along the road.

On our way through the dunes of Solleveld nature reserve, a meadow pipit flying.

On the beach: carrion crows, domestic pigeons.

An oystercatcher and three sanderlings.

On our way back, a flying great cormorant passes.

Solleveld butterflies: here.

Bird photos from the USA: here.
