This video from the USA says about itself:

Massey Energy Mine Cited for 1,300+ Safety Violations in Years Leading up to Deadly Explosion

The security chief at Massey Energy’s Upper Big Branch mine, where 29 miners were killed last April, was convicted October 26 for participating in a cover-up of longstanding safety problems in the mine: here.

The United Mine Workers of America (UMWA) has branded last year’s disaster at the Upper Big Branch mine (UBB) “Industrial Homicide” in a 154-page report released October 25. The UMWA’s conclusions largely echo those in two previous reports issued by the US Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA), and the independent team led by former MSHA chief David McAteer: here.

Two miners were killed and two others were injured in a wall collapse at a western Kentucky surface mine Friday: here.

A “rib roll” wall collapse in an underground Pike County, Kentucky, mine claimed the life of a miner June 25. The accident brings to 10 the number of coal miners killed on the job this year: here.
