Spotted crake and little grebe

This is a video of an adult spotted crake.

Back today to where I saw the juvenile spotted crake yesterday.

Again, a great cormorant sitting on the highest point of the windmill.

Gadwall ducks in the canals.

Teal in the southern lake.

In the northern lake: Canada geese. Mute swans. A little grebe swims. Shoveler ducks.

A small tortoiseshell butterfly on a thistle flower.

Back to the southern lake. A snipe cleaning its feathers.

Then, again, the spotted crake. Walking along the lake bank, a little further to the north than yesterday.

This is a video from the Groene Jonker in the Netherlands, about a spotted crake feeding its chick.
