This video shows hundreds of green-veined white butterflies.
It was recorded near Meddo village in Winterswijk local authority, the Netherlands. A rye field where pesticides are not used attracted many green-veined white butterflies; some of them mating.
It it still not known why so many butterflies went to that field with much rye and few flowers.
