Near the entrance of the cemetery today, the first singing chaffinch of the year.
Two blue tits. A greenfinch.
Nuthatches; one of them again and again near a hole in a big tree where it probabably nests.
A blue tit also near, probably, its nesting hole.
Great tits. Blackbirds. A jay.
Two male great spotted woodpeckers making noise with twigs at the same time. So, at least two woodpecker nests here this spring maybe.
The bags of bird feed hanging from a grave, where I saw a blue tit feeding this Friday, are empty now.
This video is called The Hawfinch, Coccothraustes coccothraustes at feeder. Latvia, 2009.
Two hawfinches near a hole in a big tree. It would be surprising if this rare species would nest here.
