Egyptian dictator gone, pro-democracy fight continues

This is video from 28 January 2011 in The Hague, the Netherlands. Just before dictator Mubarak resigned, a solidarity demonstration with the Egyptian people.

In the supermarket today, supermarket workers talked about the Egyptian revolution and how unfair income distribution had become under Mubarak: “He kept everything for himself”.

Uri Avnery: Tsunami in Egypt. How could one not admire them? They were non-violent, their demands were reasonable, their actions were spontaneous, they obviously expressed the feelings of the vast majority of the people. Without any organization to speak of, without leadership, they said and did all the right things. Such a sight is rare in history: here.
