Detroit classical musicians fight on

In the eleventh week of their strike against the DSO, symphony musicians visited three homeless shelters in the city of Detroit to perform Christmas music concerts. The WSWS interviewed musicians and residents about the experience.

USA: Musicians of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra (DSO), on strike since October 4, are set to perform a free community concert in Detroit on Saturday, January 8 as part of the effort to broaden public awareness and support for their struggle: here.
