A few days ago, a bird feeder was fastened at the back balcony of the flat.
A combination of the feeder and balcony plants attracts great tits (and a blue tit? It was too fast to be sure).

Britain fails to meet bird targets
Environment: Britain has failed to meet targets to halt or even slow the loss of wild birds despite successful efforts to bring some species back from the brink, conservation organisations said on Friday.
The latest State of the UK’s Birds report, published before next week’s international conference to discuss efforts to protect global wildlife, showed that the number of bird species in this country which are in trouble had risen.
