  1. Dear Friend,

$547 million. That’s the Pentagon’s P.R. budget. They’re using it to spread mistruths and misplaced hope in ‘progress’ with one goal in mind: to extend the brutal, costly Afghanistan War.

Can you contribute $20 to help us counter their half-billion-dollar propaganda machine?

While the American public is starting to see that this war is not making us safer, Petraeus has either scheduled or completed interviews with virtually every major national press outlet in the country. It is more important than ever to ensure that people hear the facts about the war, including civilian casualties and the crippling cost of the war. Can you contribute $20 to help Rethink Afghanistan tell the truth?

Rethink Afghanistan has an exclusive team on the ground in Afghanistan collecting footage and stories from real people in some of the most dangerous regions of the country–content you’ve seen in our recent video on civilian casualties.

And, we’re working to expose the Pentagon’s massive P.R. spending to sell the war, with a new video aimed right at Petraeus’ media blitz and rapid-response videos at each stop on his media tour. Please help us to continue to fight the Pentagon’s huge P.R. budget by contributing $20 to Rethink Afghanistan today.

We won’t stop fighting until we end this war, but we need your help as soon as possible if we’re going to counter the Pentagon’s half-billion-dollar P.R. machine. Please contribute today.

    Thank you for your support.
