Shelducks and barnacle geese


Today, to the private Put van Kruyt nature reserve near Reeuwijk.

Barnacle geese

Many barnacle geese, some with goslings.

Snake’s head fritillary. A Succinea putris snail.

There were few grass snakes here ten years ago, but now there are many.

Egyptian geese. A willow warbler singing.

From the boat: flying gadwall ducks. Two shelducks.

Among the plants: milk parsley; greater tussock-sedge; greater yellow-rattle.

At the Prinsendijk, reed bunting and icterine warbler singing.
