Bird sightings for 2nd May 2010

Dawn chorus morning (0450-0645hrs)

1 American Golden Plover – main lake shingle island c. 9:15 am, flew to little italy

1 Chiffchaff – reservoir lagoon NW corner

6 Blackcap – mostly in world wetlands and wildside

1 Lesser Whitethroat – near WWF hide, waterlife

4 Sedge Warbler – reedbed and waterlife

10+ Reed Warbler – reedbed, waterlife, main lake, resr lagoon

4 Reed Bunting – heard reedbed and main lake

5 Common Tern – main lake

7 pairs Lapwing – main lake, marsh and scrape

1 pair Little Ringed Plover – main lake
