Sand martin artificial nesting site overcrowded

This video from England is called Breeding Sand Martins use a sand bank on the River Aire, West Yorkshire.

Last year, an artificial nesting site with holes for 488 sand martin nests was built in Lelystad, the Netherlands.

Many sand martins nested there then, but many spots were also not occupied.

This year however, all 488 nest holes are occupied.
