Collapse at mine kills 13 workers
Turkey: A methane gas explosion triggered a mine collapse in Turkey’s Balikesir province on Tuesday that killed 13 miners.
At least four of 18 others injured were in critical condition yesterday with severe burns.
Seventeen workers were killed in a similar blast at the mine in 2006.
