Parakeets eating maple seeds

This video from England says about itself:

Ring-necked Parakeet – Greater Manchester 2007

Part of a family group in Birchfields Park near Rusholme – watch out for the curious Great Spotted Woodpecker!

This morning, ring-necked parakeets sitting between the maple leaves (some of these are still green, others already orange). They are eating maple seeds.

So, non-native birds eating in non-native trees, originally also far away from the parakeets‘ countries of origin.
