Spoonbill and ducks

Today, again to where the Baillon’s crakes nested earlier this year.

Gadwall ducks. Teal. Two snipe.

A mixed group of domestic geese, white-fronted geese (see also here), and gray lag geese.

A male tufted duck.

A spoonbill, first resting, then looking for food. He is late for migration to Africa.

Two Canada geese.

Four Egyptian geese.

A flock of goldfinches.

Later, flocks of ducks flying. Mainly gadwall and shoveler.
