Again to the Baillon’s crakes’ nesting site this morning. Again, I did not see a Baillon’s crake (though others had seen one here yesterday).
This is a snipe video from Britain.
There were black-tailed godwits, a lapwing, and a snipe cleaning its feathers.
A bit further, a little grebe in a canal.
Then, female tufted ducks.
A spoonbill walking past grey lag geese.
A great cormorant. A shoveler. A common sandpiper.
In the Northern part, which is not yet a reserve: Egyptian geese with young.
A male common blue butterfly. Later, a female.
Many goldfinches in shrub. About Carel Fabritius’ famous Goldfinch painting, see here.
A painted lady butterfly.
