Just before Tenellaplas visitors’ center, a buzzard sitting in a tree.
Just after the center, a female pheasant with two chicks beside the bicycle track.
Then, in a dune lake, a little grebe with five chicks.
In the Groene strand nature reserve, parnassia flowering.
Common blue butterflies, both male and female, flying around.
A long-tailed tit in a shrub.
From the first hide: ten Canada geese, two gray lag geese, one barnacle goose.
Near the big hide: goldfinches. From the hide: lapwings, juvenile and adult shelducks.
A wood sandpiper.
Walking back: a small heath butterfly.
In the lake, a black-necked grebe with a chick, great crested grebes, and coots. A common sandpiper. A peacock butterfly. A tortoiseshell butterfly on the sandy beach.
From a hide at the Oostvoornse meer, spoonbill. Many mute swans, with two black swans.
At the Maasvlakte: oystercatchers. A marsh harrier flying. About thirty seals on a sandbank.
A bit further, over forty spoonbills. A curlew. A kestrel hovering.
Finally today, over twenty Egyptian geese swimming in the Brielse meer.
