WORKERS stepped up their resistance to bosses’ attempts to make them pay for the recession on Thursday by vowing to continue factory occupations “for as long as it takes.”
More than 120 workers at car parts manufacturer Visteon remained on the roof of their plant in Enfield, north London, throughout the day.
And their colleagues at other factories in Basildon and Belfast staged similar sit-ins.
