Good year for Dutch red-backed shrikes?

This is a red-backed shrike video.

From Dutch ornithologists’ organization SOVON:

It looks like 2008 will be a good year for red-backed shrikes. In the extreme south east of Limburg province, Ruud van Dongen has found 26 breeding territories already; Arend van Dijk says numbers for southwestern Drenthe are similar.

Messages are also coming in about red-backed shrikes in the dunes and in the Veluwe. Good news about this species, which we used to think about as becoming lost [for the Netherlands] not very long ago.

Update: here. And here.
