Turkish peace movement opposes anti Kurdish war in Iraq

This is a video of The World Peace song composed by Turkish composer Burak Uckun [sung in English].

From British weekly Socialist Worker:

Turkish movement stands up against war on Kurds

Some 25,000 people demonstrated in Ankara, Turkey, last Saturday against military attacks on Kurds in northern Iraq.

Yildiz Önen, a leading member of Turkey’s BAK anti-war coalition, said, “Iraq is on fire as it is. Any Turkish attack will only make things worse and spread the conflict.

“It will mean more death and destruction. We want the occupying forces out of Iraq – and a peaceful solution to the Kurdish problem in Turkey.”

Anti war movement, especially in the USA and Britain: here.
