London peace demonstrators’ victory for free speech

This video is called ‘Protests outside parliament in London. ‘The day they voted 4 war’ in Iraq on 16th March 2003.

The British government tried to stop today’s march against the Iraq war going to Parliament.

However, from Blairwatch in Britain:

However, less than an hour before the march was due to start at 1pm today, police said a compromise had been agreed allowing demonstrators to march through Whitehall to Bridge Street in the shadow of the Houses of Parliament. The Met had previously planned to halt the march in Whitehall.

Well, that is good news – the prospect of a pair of old geezers (Walter Wolfgang and Tony Benn) being bundled into police vans when [Prime Minister] Gordon [Brown] is trying to wrest back control of the media agenda is evidently not welcome to the PM‘s media people.
