This new animation by Matt Buck from Tribune is about Gordon Brown taking over as British Prime Minister from Tony Blair today; looking somewhat like George W Bush on that infamous aircraft carrier on May Day 2003.

Blair’s departure good riddance to rubbish
Comment
MR Tony Blair, United States President George Bush’s poodle, yesterday left 10 Downing Street whining with his tail firmly tucked between his legs.
Mr Blair stepped down as British prime minister after a decade of misrule characterised by egoism, which saw him send British troops to Iraq to stand shoulder to shoulder with American forces in the invasion of that country against the will of his people.
This proved to be his greatest undoing. The Briton turned American cowboy probably suffering from amnesia forgot one of the rudimentary principles of democracy which enjoins leaders to “govern with the people, by the people and for the people’’.
Mr Blair even had the temerity to ignore alarm bells sounded by colleagues within his Labour Party.
Mr Blair had also destroyed the famed British social services system prefering to latch on to Bush’s neoliberal agenda by making sure that the few rich became filthy rich at the expense of the rest of the community.
No sane British citizen will lose sleep over the departure of Mr Blair from both the Prime Minister’s office and the helm of the Labour Party.
It is really a case of good riddance to bad rubbish, not only for the British citizens but the rest of the World and Zimbabwe, in particular. …
