Butterflies early in The Netherlands this year

In Britain this year, the orange tip was an exception in not being earlier than usual.

However, according to Dutch Leidsch Dagblad daily of 9 May, the orange tips this spring had already stopped flying at the end of April; while usually, about 30 April is the first day it is seen.

The large white and holly blue butterflies were seen already in early April, earlier than in other years.
