In today’s second round of the French presidential elections, the Rightist candidate Nicolas Sarkozy won 53% of the votes, beating social democrat Ségolène Royal.

Hi gaf, thanks for reacting. Not all is lost, though: there will still be new parliamentary elections soon. And if millions of people in France organize, they can stop Rightist plans, as they did with the Chirac government plan to make it easier to sack young workers.
