Flowers and birds of the ‘little desert’

Sand rocketToday, again about flowers and birds of the ‘little desert‘ along the railroad.

Weather more cloudy today; later, finally some rain expected.

Again, comflower.

I saw more of them than last time, as I also went to a part of the area which I missed then.

A minority of the flowers were already past their prime.

Other species here: sand rocket.

And red clover and dandelion.

Too early for blackberries yet.

Flying around: magpie, carrion crow, jackdaw, and herring gulls.

Sitting on a lamppost: lesser black-backed gull.

Singing: blackbird.
