British Troops Leaving Iraq: Good Riddance
I was very pleased to hear that Blair finally decided to announce his defeat and put a plan for a complete British withdrawal from Iraq within the next 22 months.
I add my voice to that of the vast majority of Iraqis, three out of four, who are demanding a complete withdrawal of all criminals, mercenaries, troops and anyone who invaded Iraq in 2003 to kill Iraqis and destroy their country.
It is very pleasurable to watch the last allies of bush running away to leave him alone in Iraq.
Not only do the Iraqi people want to end the occupation, not only do the U.S. people want to end the occupation, even the little poodles and puppets following the reckless policies of bush want to end the occupation as well.

actually. the taliban are dying out. if you didn’t know blair is out of office. it’s gordon brown who is prime minister now and he is still keeping troops in iraq as the taliban need finishing off and doctors and schools need to be protected, he is though taking a few troops back as he doesn’t need so many in iraq so 300,000 have gone home whilt 700,000 have stayed. all troops in the UK millitary should leave iraq completley in round about 2013-2015

Hi curt, this blog post based on Iraqi Raed Jarrar’s blog post, is about Iraq; so commenting on the Taliban, who are in Afghanistan, here, is off topic. Of course Blair is out of office by now, but this blog post is from 2007 when he was still in office, as you might have noted.
As for doctors in Iraq, most of them have have fled or have been killed since Bush and Blair invaded Iraq in 2003; so no “protection” at all. There have never been 300,000 British troops in Iraq, let alone a million.
