USA: Bush calls up dead and wounded soldiers to go to Iraq

Bush and US soldiers who died in the Iraq war

Translated from Dutch NOS TV:

The United States army has called up dead and wounded soldiers to return to the front in Iraq.

A letter, requesting them to do so soon, landed on doormats a few days after Christmas.

More than five thousand letters were sent to people who had served in the US Army recently.

That included two hundred wounded and 75 dead soldiers.

George W Bush probably thinks: if the dead can vote in Florida to make me President, they can go to Iraq to die again as well …

Recruiting for the Iraq war, and Bush’s plans to escalate it, is apparently going so badly that after earlier rules against recruiting the elderly, people with criminal records, people on drugs, nazis, etc., were scrapped, now the rule of being alive is scrapped.

Apparently, only the rule against being gay still survives … err, “even” they are now welcome to die in Iraq, though not as soldiers in places where there is no fighting …

He said that an extremely high number of wounded soldiers are coming home with their arms or legs amputated. Imbascini said he amputated the genitals of one or two men every day.”

“One is a Jul. 20, 2006, document titled “Compensation and Pension Benefit Activity Among Veterans of the Global War on Terrorism,” which shows that 152,669 veterans filed disability claims after fighting in Iraq or Afghanistan. Of the more than 100,000 claims granted, Veterans Administration records show at least 1,502 veterans have been compensated as 100 percent disabled.”
