Today in the nature reserve.
The common stinkhorns were still at the same spot as on Sunday, but now lying on the ground and decomposing.
There were still many other fungi.
Birds: singing robins.
In the water on the east side and beyond it: a moorhen, many coots, two mute swans (read about gay ones here).
In the castle pond: two great crested grebes. Many mallards.
And a dabchik (not a very common bird here).
