Like last week, today I went to the free open air tango lessons in the city park.
These were the last such lessons of this year, and there was a party to celebrate.
More people had come than last week.
From one of my tango (and milonga; see also here) dancing partners, I learned that at least two of the people present, Edith and Harry, had been to the Antarctic peninsula.
Today, I did not hear the ring-necked parakeets, but I did hear lot of coot sounds from the park pond.
The many semi wild chickens in the streets around the park showed themselves again.
A cat looked at a cock a few meters away, but apparently had eaten enough cat food, so kept sitting.
Though lessons here are finished for this year, weather permitting there will stil be tango dancing on 2 and 9 September.
