Comma butterfly and cormorant statue

Comma butterfly

Today, on the Zaag peninsula (semi industrial park, semi nature reserve): comma butterfly.

Nearby, in small town Lekkerkerk: a great cormorant.

Not from famous nesting colony Bakkerswaal close to Lekkerkerk.

This was a larger than life statue of a great cormorant spreading its wings to dry them.
