I am not going to waste my energy trying to figure Ann Coulter out.

But, I imagine if you give her enough time, she’ll self-destruct. It is
clear she has never been loved by anybody, probably not even by her
parents. She probably spent her girlhood tearing the wings off
butterflies and beating up on smaller kids.

    I think she thinks she’s a sexpot .

For me, Ann Coulter represents all that is repulsive and depraved about
    today’s Republicans.

I have not heard one Republican say publicly that Ann Coulter went too
    far when she

    1) advocated bombing the New York Times building in NYC

    2) said of the widows of the 9/11 victims, “I’ve never seen people
enjoying their husbands’ deaths so much.”

    3) said to a disabled Vietnam vet: “People like you caused us to lose
    that war.”

    4) said American Taliban John Walker should be executed to show liberals
    what happens to traitors

    5) said the only real question about President Clinton was “whether to
    impeach or assassinate” him

    6) advocated that somebody poison U.S. Supreme Court Justice Stevens

Now, Coulter is advocating the MURDER of Rep. John Murtha, a decorated
Marine veteran, who says it’s time to pull our troops out of Iraq and
station them “over the horizon” where they can go back into Iraq if need
be. John Murtha had a long and distinguished 37-year career in the U.S.
Marine Corps, retiring from the Marine Corps Reserve as a colonel in
1990. Murtha has been a Congressman since 1974.

(What good thing has Ann Coulter ever done for this country?)

You know there are just enough rightwing wackos walking around who will
take Coulter’s suggestion seriously and think they are doing the
    “patriotic” thing by killing Murtha.

Will ANY Republican ever say this woman is out of line and does not
    represent Republican thought or values?

    Silence from The Right.

And SHAME on Jay Leno for having her as a guest on his TV show, calling
her a friend, and thanking her.

The thing of it is I do believe Ann Coulter is THE FACE of today’s
    REPUBLICAN party.

Every Republican who remains MUTE in the face of Coulter’s
recommendations that liberals be murdered and newspapers be bombed is
enabling her and apparently agreeing with her.

  3. Ann Coulter, Plagierist

    Plagiarism and Ann Coulter
    Source: NY Post (7-2-06)

Conservative scribe Ann Coulter cribbed liberally in her latest
book, “Godless,” according to a plagiarism expert.

John Barrie, the creator of a leading plagiarism-recognition system,
claimed he found at least three instances of what he calls “textbook
plagiarism” in the leggy blond pundit’s “Godless: the Church of
Liberalism” after he ran the book’s text through the company’s
    digital iThenticate program.

He also says he discovered verbatim lifts in Coulter’s weekly column,
which is syndicated to more than 100 newspapers, including the Fort
Lauderdale (Fla.) Sun-Sentinel and Augusta (Ga.) Chronicle.

Barrie, CEO of iParadigms, told The Post that one 25-word passage
from the “Godless” chapter titled “The Holiest Sacrament: Abortion”
appears to have been lifted nearly word for word from Planned
Parenthood literature published at least 18 months before Coulter’s
    281-page book was released.

A separate, 24-word string from the chapter “The Creation Myth”
appeared about a year earlier in the San Francisco Chronicle with
just one word change – “stacked” was changed to “piled.”

Another 33-word passage that appears five pages into “Godless”
allegedly comes from a 1999 article in the Portland (Maine) Press

Meanwhile, many of the 344 citations Coulter includes
in “Godless” “are very misleading,” said Barrie, who holds a Ph.D.
from the University of California at Berkeley, where he specialized
    in pattern recognition.

“They’re used purely to try and give the book a higher level of
credibility – as if it’s an academic work. But her sloppiness in
failing to properly attribute many other passages strips it of nearly
all its academic merits,” he told The Post.

    Ann Coulter Hates the Troops

“Coulter’s ad hominem attacks would be a joke if it were not for the 150,000 American troops risking their lives in Iraq. Her brand of sophomoric partisanship would be meaningless if it were not for the fact our nation currently faces a set of deadly serious choices about the war that could mean life or death for thousands of our young service people.”
