Wednesday 23 November.
On my way to the nature reserve, a ring-necked parakeet flies overhead.
In the ditch around the nature reserve: a great crested grebe; coots; mallards.
Many flocks of geese are migrating to the south.
A teal, again in the same spot where I saw this species repeatedly this year.
Probably nested here; while this species rarely nests in this country.
From trees, ring-necked parakeets call to each other.
