Northern hawk-owl attracts English birders to Zwolle

Here is a video, from 2 December 2013, about the northern hawk-owl in Zwolle in the Netherlands.

Today, after weeks, the rare northern hawk-owl is still in Zwolle.

Birder David Uit de Weerd writes that this morning, the bird sat on an electricity pole. Two cars with birders from England (Norwich and elsewhere) had arrived to watch it.

There is a storm in the Netherlands today which is expected to get still stronger. Apparently, so far that has not disturbed the hawk-owl.
