    Female members of princely families in countries like Bahrain and Qatar do have some influence.

    As this blog post says, Her Highness Sheikha Mozah bint Nasser al-Missned, one of the emir of Qatar’s wives, was delegate in bringing the football championship to Qatar.

    And the torture princess of Bahrain, Her Royal Highness Noura Bint Ebrahim al-Khalifa, niece of the king, participates in torturing political prisoners:

    However, the mass in women in these countries are oppressed, and that is a prop of absolute monarchical rule.
