  1. Thanks for this post! We just read (and responded with corrections to) the accounts on CNN and MSN: both news organizations referred to Sitkalidak Island as uninhabited and neglected to mention its proximity to very much inhabited Kodiak Island. The articles read as though Shell had supplied the reporters with an internal damage control memo, and the journalists didn’t bother to do any further investigation. Thanks again for publishing a more thorough account!
