Evolution ‘a lie from the pit of hell’
United States: A congressman on the House science, space and technology committee has been caught saying that evolution, embryology and the Big Bang theory are “lies straight from the pit of hell.”
Republican Paul Broun made the comments to a banquet last month but a video has now been released of the remarks.
His spokeswoman said the remarks had been off the record.
