A United States Navy helicopter crashed Thursday in the gulf nation of Oman with five crew members aboard, according to the American military. Lt. Greg Raelson, a spokesman for the Navy’s Fifth Fleet, based in Bahrain, gave no immediate word on the fate of the crew members. But an Omani Air Force official said three of them had been found so far and were being treated in a hospital. Lieutenant Raelson said an investigation was under way into the crash of the MH-53E Sea Dragon, which is assigned to Helicopter Mine Countermeasure Squadron 15, based in Norfolk, Va.
