Roe deer rescued from the sea – 07/18/12
A very special case of saving from drowning in the sea last weekend. A young roe deer buck had landed in the water near the Brouwersdam. The Westerschouwen lifeguards, with great difficulty, managed to lift the animal into the lifeboat and bring it back to land. The young buck was not injured, but very exhausted. The wildlife ranger came. He ruled that the animal had regained enough strength and that it could return to the nearby forest.

So sweet.
Yes, I hope that this deer will have a long and happy life in the forest
