  1. Greek elections set for June

    Greece: New elections will be held on June 17 and a court official will be appointed to lead the interim government until then.

    Council of State head Panagiotis Pikramenos will be appointed interim prime minister.

    Communist Party general secretary Aleka Papariga said party leaders agreed that the interim government will not be able to make any internationally binding decisions following a meeting convened by President Karolos Papoulias.
