Amnesty International denounces Honduran dictators

Eighty days since the coup in Honduras there are no signs of the resistance being weakened. On the contrary it is growing and becoming more militant. The conditions exist for the coup regime to be overthrown, but this requires decisive action in the form of a total, all-out general strike: here.

Curacao nature threatened

This is a video about green iguanas on Curacao island.

WILLEMSTAD – “Step by step, the nature area near the Boca Sami lagoon is being destroyed. This area is officially a reserve, and the government should definitely guarantee its protection to the community”.

This says Yvette Raveneau, chair of Amigu di Tera.

“Obviously there are folks who break the law and continue to destroy the nature of our island. Not just land is “developed” but there is illegal construction as well”, the chairwoman continues.

Grass snake expansion in southern Netherlands

In late August this year, in a hotbed in a small nature reserve in Limburg, the first grass snakes of this southern Dutch province were born! Ever since 2005, grass snakes have been observed regularly along the border river the Wurm. However, so far there had not been a stable population, including breeding, yet.
